Nothing can grip you like a new granddaughter! My little Stella Grace may have a grip of my finger. But let me tell you, she has me wrapped around hers.
This little baby girl is so amazing. I am so thankful God has given her to us. Her smile can light up a room, she does light up my heart.
What about God’s heart? What brings Him joy? I think you and I do. We bring Him joy - especially when we are close to Him enjoying His presence as He enjoys our presence. Do you ever wonder how God feels about you? Read Psalm 139. We are fearfully and wonderfully made. His thoughts of us are precious.
It is wonderful when we are with Stella; when my family is together my wife beams with joy.
My little family being together creates a portal for me to imagine how God feels when His children are together enjoying each other. We know what He says about it;
“Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity … For there the Lord has commanded the blessing, life forevermore”. Psalm 133
Prayer: Father, Your love for us is amazing. We are so grateful. Lord, help us bring Your love to others and may this bring joy to Your heart!
