Lifelong Enrollment of Student of Grief

GUEST PORTAL-ER JENNIFER LEBO “Student of Grief” Jennifer Lebo was married for twenty-seven years to her beloved Dave who passed at the age of only fifty-four. Years earlier, she lost her father as a younger man as well. Willing to sit still as a student in the Classroom of Grief has made her a skilled teacher in that same field. She resides in Bensalem, Pa. Autumn brings flaming foliage, a cornucopia of comfort foods, and a dutiful return to academia. Variety is the spice of life! Who can focus on just one thing? I like to be well-rounded and studying comfort foods is one way to achieve that, right? You're beginning to understand that I have never been a great student.

PORTALS TO HEAVEN is now on the Sound of Life radio station

throughout New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

I like to watch people working with their hands, whether heavy machinery or a delicate paintbrush is involved. I like to know how things work and how they are made or done. But sit me in some classroom with a monotone teacher who shows zero enthusiasm for the information he is presenting and I feel that I'm dying a slow death.

I had no idea that God would assign me the monumental course of study called "Grief" and that it would last the rest of my life. I have been made a captive audience. I can never leave this classroom, but I determined from the beginning not to waste my time here though my brain gets boggled and heartache often makes me question the value of perseverance.

PORTAL TO HEAVEN: Whatever our learning styles, whatever the lessons, we may not see the purpose for a particular assignment, but God rewards steadfastness excellently.

Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. James 1:2-4 ESV
