A Verdant Picture of a Soul


The lawn looked a kid with a mop of hair that hadn’t had a haircut in several month. September snuck up on me and produced a lavish growth such as I had never seen before.

When I looked out the backyard, I was struck by the lushness of the trees and bushes as if September would never surrender to October.

PORTAL TO HEAVEN: Summer “works” all summer to produce what we see by its last day. It’s the same with us. There are times when we mosey along and think nothing is getting done. But then we look at an education, a career, a growing or an adult child and think, “There was growth after all.”

Could this be how God looks at our souls? Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith… Hebrews 12:2 NKJV
