The Unfolding of Summer's Sonnet

VIDEO: "June is Bustin Out All Over" from "Carousel."

Portals to heaven abound through Mother Nature and she is determined to make it obvious that all glory goes to her Creator.

Whether you are walking down Boston’s glorious Brattle Street near Harvard Square with eye-popping bushes

or in an urban street where things are so tight that a squeezed red rose makes its way through broken lattice, June wields its sensory overload for one reason: that we may know of a beauty that we cannot create; something beyond us that the best we can do is manage or garden or even try taming.

June does bust out all over as if to give praise. Even in the more reserved areas of Harvard, rhododendrons will cry out in credit to their Creator even in the residents won’t or don’t.

PORTAL TO HEAVEN: There are certain times to bust out in praise during particular “summer seasons” in our lives. Don’t let a passerby miss His glory in You.

In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven…For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.

Matthew 5:16 NIV, Romans 1:20 NIV
