PHOTO: My study where I enjoy my work as a writer...but cleaning it?
A house with five floors to clean can either get you mad or get you in shape…
It was once-upon-a-Saturday and we faced the pressure that a couple accompanied by a real estate agent would be here within the next 12 hours white-gloving our home.
The execution of my procrastination had arrived and I found myself climbing up to the cupola to begin what I thought would be a fifteen-minute job. A couple of CD’s later, I was still sorting books while trying not to get distracted reading old journals.
I must confess that it was some of the best two hours I’ve spent in ages as work worked its way into worship. The Brooklyn Tabernacle’s voices and orchestration buried any tedium and I felt as if I could take on another five floors.
Work can get you mad or get you into worship.
PORTAL TO HEAVEN: It would have been something to witness the six days of work that God put into creating the heavens and earth. Was He dancing or whistling while He worked? Or was He simply dreaming of us and designing a place the way an expectant couple prepares a nursery? We marvel at His work. Will others marvel at ours?
Whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God…there is nothing better for a person than to enjoy their work…For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day.

COMMENTS:
Your mom had a big heart. Its wonderful to see her smiling face again. One day, not long off, we will see her "live streaming" face in heaven. Thank you Jesus. Guin has always been such a wonderful "tribute baby" to her life. Thank you again, dear Lord, for the grace you died to bring us.
